MTB, Love the set up!

I really look forward to having a family gathering of that size with a movie in the backyard when i have kids!

Trying to enjoy the simple things in life.

Thx guys, it's all good stuff, and a simple social gathering does wonders breaking ice with new neighbors.

I'd like to add the speakers I use for side/back surround are you basic freebies.
My brother inlaw gave me a pair of Atlantic Techniology 274's, they are di-pole.
That created a null which does NOT work in outdoor arrangement, and no walls for reflections/etc, so I re-wired them to be bi-pole
Here they are in the back/sides area, pointed to the people area

re-wiring them to be bi-pole speakers, basically reverse the polarity on 1 side.... not rocket science.
Works perfect.

My point is re-use someones old stuff for your new stuff!

Nice! It would be cool if our neighborhood could rally together to get one of these put up. Might bring a new look to Redbox night this summer and could welcome a few of the newcomers. Any Suggestions as to what's best?

The Iowa State Athletic Department kicked off a new annual event this summer, Movie Night at Jack Trice Stadium...it was pretty awesome. They allowed Cyclone Club members to vote ahead of time on what movie to show, and opened up the stadium free to anyone who wanted to come out.

Year 1 was Wreck-It Ralph on the 80'x36' scoreboard in the stadium. It was, honestly, one of the best times I've had.

I love my iPhone, but it will never replace my turntable.

Thrillcat, so neat!
Did you sleep on the field afterward or go home?

They sent us all home. frown.gif

But seriously, that night was awesome. The only problem was they vastly underestimated the crowd size and ran out of concessions real early.
