I have the Camp Chief 120" outdoor screen. This past weekend, I set it up for the first time this year and found stains/discoloration on the screen (it appears that the black border had leeched dye while in storage). The stains won't wash off and remain visible while a movie is running so something needs to be done.
I seem to recall that Carl's 5x9 grommet and bungee screen is an effective replacement screen for the Camp Chief 120" model. Is this still true? Are there any other options? As an alternative, could I paint the screen material? If so, would this require a sprayer or could I apply it by brush?
I do like the size and ease of installation of the Camp Chief frame so I'd like to stick with that if I can. Thanks for any thoughts. I'm going to cross-post this in the screen forum as well as I need a rather quick fix for next weekend's birthday party for my daughter.
