I have two Sony G70's, a faroudja dvp3000 and a key digital HD Leeza.
I had thought about a double stack of the G70's in a room with 100% light control. I also can get my hands on a G90 with very low hours (the 70's are both in the 5000's). Or do I sell the 70's for something else. Any suggestions?

Tough call.

I wouldn't trade my G90 for stacked G70s. But G70's are easier to find spares for.

Before you ceiling mount, have you tried a table-top setup with both G70s to see if the stacked convergence is acceptable to you?

Have you had CRTs for a while, or is the whole geometry setup new to you?

Hey there Clarence, don't mean to hijack but I am hoping you could take a look for those brackets again. My projy is kind of stuck on the floor and I have been keeping it unconnected because of cord accidents. I wish it were otherwise but you are pretty much my only hope.

Why don't you list prices for your stuff, then after a few weeks of not getting any responses, maybe you'll either sell them for a lot less, or just keep them and use them...

I am not very familiar with CRT's setup but understand there will be a large amount of maintenance to a double stack. I am hoping to find Someone wit a set for some screen shots to help me make up my mind. Or maybe some feed back from someone who has or installed a G70 double stack.

Screen shots are useless. You need to see one in action, but there's only about 6 around North America. Cliff is in Chicago, others might post where they are located.

Obi Clar One you are his only hope...

Meet AC at the Lorentian system! (...between the two moons of Cholack 1)

Save him, he is naked without you...LOL

Capea4 go for a G90 stack...The pricees have dropped low enough so that they are viable nowadays!
