On my previous posts I talked about the Barco 600 I bought at Goodwill for 50$.
I guess I need an RCVDS to run it. As I said earlier the unit appears to have not been used, when I opened it up there wasn't any signs of wear (no dust, no heat discoloration) and the tubes are impeccable. It came with all the original packing material, box and mounting hardware. I'm at a bit of quandary whether I should invest any money to get this thing going or should I sell it as a whole or part it out. I understand its not the best of the Barco series, however it is mint. I have an older NEC pg9 that has some wear and poor astigmatism issues but it does run as it sits. I guess I need to decide which projector to set up or if its time to give up CRT and go digital (YUK). Any and all advice it appreciated.

If this is a Vision, check the specs on my site, but I think that's a video only 480i projector. You'd need the Data 600 to do up to 720p (I think). Not sure what boards you'd have to change, most likely the H and V deflection boards at minimum.

Even if new, the parts are all 22 years old, the tubes could have fungus. I probably have an RCVDS4, or the little plug in remote on the back that will sub for the remote if you're using the RGBS inputs, but if it's a Vision as I said, it will only do 320 X 240 resolution.

Pull the mint SD187 tubes and find a data grade set like an ECP with worn tubes and drop them in?
