The news is out, Moome cards will be available starting late October this year. I was wondering if any of you will want to jump aboard a group buy to save some money, the minimum number we need is 5 and I count for 1 so post a reply if interested. Hopefully we hit 5 and strive to see if we can get greedy and push for 10 people for an even bigger discount.

Thanks Nidi, I was just getting back to this. Yeah guys, the link should pretty much tell you all you need to know as far as whats new with the card. I have nothing to compare it with. Just got a 1292 that I'm trying to feed HD content apart from a computer with a break-out connection.

no problem,

but I think those are the 1.3 HDMI cards, not the new ones that are coming

out in October.

I thought these were for the new NEW cards circa October release date? If not then I suggest we hold off till the very latest iteration. I understand even the prior-to-latest cards are impressive but i don't see any incentive to helping Moome clear out old stock - sorry.

So once again all interested lets make certain that we are buying the very latest card before we go into the group buy, unless of course Moome sweetens the deal further

I hope Kal pops in the clarify things.

From my understanding the for nec all the cards that were manufactured say like 500 card , were all sold . after that the only way you could buy one was used, but since there seamed to be inquieries for new they decided to make some more but not 500 but more like 100 -200. We all know when you buy at extream volume 3000 -10000 the dollar amount per item is much cheaper.
All I can say is thanks moome for at least making a few more cards for us that have necxg.
realisticly the card works great. however I think I would of dropped the price a little, and they may of sold more.
