I had a problem of "vsync out of range" with a marquee 8500. I changed the VIM and I solved this problem. But now a strange thing happened: a part of pic what is supposed to be in the bottom is upside (see sample pic). What is happened?

Check your 'phase' control setting. It might be at 0 or 100, factory default is 50.

Thanks, I tried with "phase" but it seemed not very useful.
I will try again but, by the way, other suggestion?

what does that mean? Does the Phase control affect the picture or not?
If it does, at which value is the pic closest to "correct"?
