I need to do the folded image modification on the HDB board from Tech Bulletin TB95-10. I found D57 can not find BAT81. Some one please help.
Thanks

are you sure you know what your doing? BAT81 isn't a location on the board, D57 is a BAT81 diode.

and it's only found on the 07P HDM manufactured over a 4 month period in 1995. Are you sure that's the actual board you have?
The DOM is on the front, white sticker next to the power chord.

I misread the tech bulletin. The way it was printed (replace diode D7, BAT81) I took it replace two diodes. I am a older electronic tech. guess my reading skills are slipping.
It is the 07P board.

ok, but it would have to be a very rare board to have been made over that 4 month period. The 07 HDM was made for 4+ years.
Is it really folding? if it's clipping a couple of inches off each side of the image then that's normal without a video scaler. Using a video processor and lengthening the porch sizes from Blue ray and DVD will display the entire image, otherwise you lose a little on the sides.
