I got a used 32" tube TV, RCA brand, model F31672ET. After a couple days of using it, I noticed when it's cold (hasn't been used for few hours), it has a problem starting up. If I push the power button I can hear it try to turn on, but then it immediately shuts down. It takes about 3 times before it starts normally. After that it works without any problems. As long it stays hot, I can shut it down and turn it on again without any problems. I'm wondering why it's doing this and if there's anything that can be fixed to stop this from happening. Hope someone can help.

Sounds like a bad capacitor somewhere. Unless you're an electronics tech, you won't be able to repair this. In general, RCA is near the bottom of the heap when it comes to construction quality, I used to repair them 30 years ago. I'd scrap it and get something else, Craigslist is full of free CRT TVs that work.
