Looking for a cost-effective method of shipping a used 180lb projector from one end of country to another. I'm thinking ground, slow, pallet, no insurance. Cheapest method?

man that brings back memory's, I would go to forward air once every 2 weeks back in the day. Maneuvering thorough the lot in my little Nissan I felt like a mouse among elephants trying not get stepped on. I think they quit dealing with "little guys" and don't even want you walking on their dock, at least not in the Denver depot. Plus, the cash MO was a huge PITA.
Pilot air is the same thing, same price, they will do a lift-gate pick-up, and they take Credit cards. Keep in mind the shipper will not be responsible for a fork lift blade through a lens, so if it's an LC machine with good lenses I would consider a box and foam-in-place at least as opposed to open pallet
