That's a VERY impressive system! My compliments!

Not to try to add too much more to your obviously crowded plate, but have you thought about a high precision, fully automated convergence system that would work as part of this package, interfaced to the Marquee's own convergence system but with a pile of improvements? I can envision such a system using an upgraded ACON camera that takes precise colorimetry readings and adjusts the contrast modulation circuitry in addition to the usual convergence settings, and with some of the convergence and positioning done by Blendzilla's own processing.

I think it'd be a considerable project, but a slick, well polished system that does its job fast and well would be a super option to add in.

Well CJ

We find that this projector configuration, 33% overlap instead of stacking, allows the projectors to shoot straight ahead with very little need to mess with convergence. In a room with stable air temp, one might go weeks without having to tune up convergence at all. Acon was never meant to do colorimetry so I do not know about that.

It wouldn't be a weekend project, I can promise you that!

But, note that not every customer will be able or willing to set up his pair of monsters exactly like you do, for space or configuration reasons. A flexible but powerful auto convergence and auto colorimetry system would be not just useful for such a situation, but would be a very valuable technology in its own right. Develop a solid platform, and you'll probably end up licensing it to various manufacturers for inclusion in their products. Particularly in the simulation and training markets.
