When you're looking at the picture on your screen, how does black really look compared to the black we're seeing in your screenshot?

The "black" letterbox bars were really gray, yet they show up in the GIFs as perfect black.
MM, what's your experience on "blacks" from different projectors and different screens?
|X1's are spiffy little Pjs that sport a 3000:1 Cr so what they lack in Resolution, they make up for in Shadow detail if not pushed into making an image over 8' diagonal with only 800 x 600 res to work with.|
