Just picked up the subject Vidikron - is in a pretty decent shape.

Can't seem to find much info on the net on this projector (other than it is an Electrohome 300 or 3500 clone).

Is there an owner's manual out there? Would be grateful for any help.

Hi there ahmedhaff

The Vidikron projector you have is as you say is based on an Electrohome ECP chassis, from waht i have read it is a ECP3000 or ECP3100, If you do a search for ECP on this forum you will find plenty of information on them, i have two ECP4000's which i have managed to get really excellent pictures out of them.

Service manuals are available but only for electrohome ECP ranges, all the clone manufacturers, eg Vidikron, Seleco etc are loath to distribute there versions.

C R T C I N E M A has installation and users manuals for the ECP 3000/3100 range or our very helpfull member PiDD has the full technical manual on a FTP site, if you PM i'm sure he will give you access to it, (Sorry PiDD, hope this hasn't caused any problems/offense etc).

Hope this helps

James
