That first photo looks like a very happy person posing for a photo with three very special family members.. :)

Dang, I only wish I could have made the trip down there to do the setup. I understand Australia to be a great place to visit. And hopefully I'll be able to stop that way soon. I've signed up as a technical consultant for a company that does work globally, but I did not not sign up to go globally. But for this, I'm sure I can get them to drop me in Australia one day.. ;) Had I not been so involved in cleaning up repairs and doing blend and other setups for this same operation, I would have arrived with those projectors.

And I'm sure all items arrived in good operating condition. Tim has a very comprehensive QC program. And one of the best things that I like about installing and setting up his projectors is that he's done a big part of the work before it's sent to you. There's nothing like working with projectors that has had that special touch, that makes them even better than a factory setup.

Blendzilla is not only a blending device. It's also a very powerful scaler, switcher and processor. And it's so easy to operate and setup.

It's all about the performance... Got Marquee!

High Performance Marquee Video chain modifications.  Now available!

Wow!!! Now thats a set up!

Even sight unseen, I think it would be safe to say that Gino will have the best projection system down under. Probably in the world!!

Way to go Gino

You'll have to redo the astig :)

Northern Hemisphere CRT monitors are all wacky down here - we all had to fiddle with the colour purity magnets on a bunch of imported FW900 CRT monitors we got our grubby little mits on.

Awesome Gino :)

Why the 1.92 AR?

I run 2.05 on everything I so I understand that AR, but not 1.92.

Have fun with that....I'm very envious. :D

Gino - great setup. I am striving to get there too: I have 1 Ultra and one non-Ultra and also planning to do the blending... but my basement is still in construction... so at the moment I am waiting.

I can see that you have not compromised anything... two Ultras with MP mods!!!

One question though: why didn't you go with a bigger screen? I am planning the same myself but with a 160" wide 2.35:1 AR screen. I am crossing my fingers expecting the light output of the Marquees to be enough in my totally light controlled basement.

Great setup and I wish you luck in your journey!!!

Gino - have to ask.

WHYYY??? Last time I was in Cairns, I only came out of the water long enough to refill my scuba tanks. And maybe eat. Don't tell me you get so jaded by living in heaven that you have to watch movies - here in Iowa, amidst the corn fields and hogs, movies are a welcome distraction.

In Cairns, movies and telly would just be a distraction. When you discover you aren't really using these puppys, please forward them to someone who NEEDS entertainment. ;)

that's not really fair, no one is forcing you to fix your teeth. You could always take the -10 IQ penalty and just pull out the ones that need rapairing . I chose good teeth over a diventix, but hey that's just me. :D
Gino congrats on the new video system, Art doesn't have to feel so alone now. :)

Congrats Gino. I do not post to much in the CRT forum but Ive been reading all the BlendZilla threads and you will without a doubt have one of if not THE best setups in your country. Share some pictures once you have everything to your satisfaction. I bet you are excited. Looks like dental school paid off :)

I thought my drooling had stopped a couple of days after getting home with my re-tubed G70. The drooling started again. What is that in the middle, a $200 video switcher? :)

A dental surgeon?!? Whoa! Take this as a compliment Gino, but looking at the pics you posted, I figured you were about 19 years old! :) You certainly take good care of yourself!

(My first question no longer needs answering.. I was going to ask: How's a university/college kid afford this sort of stuff!) :D

Congrats on the twins!
