I am shopping for new comp. speakers to put in my car. Any advice would be great. I put in a set of polk db 5.25" and was not too impressed.

I'm running the next model & size up, the Polk MM6501 and really like the way they sound, better then the Infinity References in my truck. However I'm also powering them with the front channels of a Kicker ZX350.4 amp. Maybe you just need more power?

My equipment list is here. Playstation Network ID = jmii ...that's JM roman numeral 2

how much power you gonna run to those speakers? I had a set of them in the rear doors of my old truck and had 75W to them and I thought they were pretty decent. I also had the crossover on the amp set so they wouldn't fart.
