I was wondering if anyone has experience with the following sub by MTX Audio?
MTX Audio TT6512-04

I have a smaller car and bought this to go into a truck enclosure. I just wanted to find out what people think of the sound quality of this sub. I'm not looking for high SPLs but more quality, tight bass.

Anyone here have this sub?

Not a fan of ultra thin subs. The performance for the price is usually not worth it. IF mounting depth is a spec that is super important, then give it a shot. If not try this one.

Give a look at the Dayton line like the HO. Super small enclosure and a very good sounding sub.

I'm running a slim-ish sub... a Polk MM 1240.

The Polks are know as an SQ (sound quality) sub more then SPL, but its also a pretty efficient sub (with a HUGE xmax) so it still gets plenty loud in a small sealed box. Image Dynamics is another good small box sub, but its not a slim mount.

My equipment list is here. Playstation Network ID = jmii ...that's JM roman numeral 2
