i have an f150 and i have been running a 1300w mono sony amp, with 2 12" alpine subs. blew my subs this week and was wondering what would be the best way to go? i had the subs bridged in the box and then bridged to my amp. i am running all 1 gauge wire, with proper grounds capacitor, inline fuses etc.
thinking about buying 2 12" pioneer 1400w tsw308d4

First which model of Alpine sub?
Model of amp.
Enclosure that was used for the alpines.

Why did they blow? What caused this? Thermal or mechanical?
