Posted it in the wrong section the first time. Anyways, so I just got my first car and I'm really new to all of this. So it would be nice if you could explain everything as simple as you can haha.

So I'm thinking about getting the Rockford P2D2-12
What are your opinions on this woofer?

I'm also planning on getting this amp.
Also, what are your opinions on this amp?

Would this combination work?

Thanks guys!

Well, if you wire the 2 ohm coils series, then yes it will work and your sub will see~300 watts from the amp. I suggest you look for a dual coil 4 ohm per coil sub to get the most power you can from the amp. Granted it won't be a night and day difference in output but it will be there.

What are your goals for adding a subwoofer?

Have you purchased the sub yet?

What music do you predominately listen to?

are you keeping everything else in the car factory or does it have aftermarket audio?
