I am new to car audio and have 2 Kicker CRV 12"s subs and and a matching amp, and everything else. I'm ready to build an enclosure, but don't know anything about enclosure design/theory. The basic requirements for the enclosures are that they have to be slanted slightly on the front side and pretty small (roughly 1ft^3) so they'll be sealed. I don't really want to get into the specific on measurements of my truck (unless necessary) my big question is: for best bass, should I build one box for both, or two boxes, one for for each? I have quite a bit of space across the back of my truck from side to side, but the space from the back wall to the seat is the limiting factor.

Being sealed, it does not matter. Build one box or two...life will go on. smile.gif

If you need specific help with building the box, we can help.

Dont forget to brace the middle of the box....

If you have an apple product ( iPad/iPod), there is an app called kicker U that will be of assistance to you.

Thanks! I think I'll build two to allow for more placement options. I'll measure and come up with a rough plan and post it.
