Hello, I am new to this forum and this is my first post, I have brought myself a double fusion box fitted with two pioneer 12" champion pro series 3000w subs, I haven't the slightest clue where to stary looking for an amp which would be most ideal, also i font really want to be spending through the teeth, any help would be grand cheers
Ok thanks I shall look at the spec and get back, bassically looking to spend no more than 120, uk and really just want to get the best out of the sub I have as in shear BASE and vibration, being a total of 6k taking into consideration what it would really put out I would imagine rather loud still?? Thanks
remember that subs put out decibels (a measure of sound pressure) you feed them watts (voltage times amperage)
And you feed about any sub 3000 watts and within a very short time you are melting a voice coil... Thankfully most music is dynamic so the 3kw that the sub is rated to handle would be a short as in millisecond burst of power and the sub better be in the right box etc... But I will try to not over complicate things
Some specs on the box you bought would be nice. the enclosure is going to really dictate the end sound and quantity of bass you get.
