I have watched several youtube videos and read the user manual several times and I can not find a solution. I am running the video output from the 470 to a video distribution amp and then back to two head rest monitors. Neither monitors have a signal (i also tried bypassing the amp and going straight to one monitor). I have checked the AV1/AV2 possibilities and have made sure the NTSC/PAL settings are correct. I have also used multiple cables to test with.

Am I missing a setting or is my outport port simply bad? (new out of box).

Thanks in advance.

Connect a different video source to your the distro amp inputs (a portable dvd player..... what ever) and verify the monitors and amp are working. Then at least you will know whether or not it has something to do with the HU.

Hooked up a DVD player to the video amp and it played on the rear monitors fine. Obviously that leaves the HU...does anyone know if it should play out to the back "out of the box" or are there settings needed to enable it? I am still not seeing anything in the paperwork and can't find anything on the internet either.

Thanks again.

Well apparently the "AV OUT" button at the top left of the front panel, RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY DUMB-ASS FACE isn't big enough for me to see. Toggle it to the correct source and what do ya know!!!!

Thanks for your help.
