I am looking for a streaming amplifier of around 100 watts or more. Stereo is good enough, but could be more channels.

Bluetooth would be best. The amp will be hidden, so I'd need to control it with an android app, or RF remote, or IR receiver that I could mount in an unobtrusive place.

Would like it inexpensive, but depending on the quality, could go as much as $300.

Sure would appreciate some advice.

Kind regards,

Bill,
Atlanta

Have not seen one like that. You may find something from a Chinese specialty audio site. But then you may have issues with that.

Your best bet may be a headunit and amp

I think that you are probably right. I have that setup in my 1956 Cadillac, mounted in the glovebox, but I have to open the glovebox to use the remote, Not a big deal, except I wish I had the use of the glovebox and could put the headunit under the seat, or hide it away somewhere, and still be able to control it with a remote (maybe RF?)

I have classic cars and don't want to have noticeable modern equipment.

I can mount 6x9 speakers in the rear and under the dash in the convertible. Maybe a flat subwoofer under the seat.

Kind regards,

Well there may be other alternatives but the 300 budget is the issue. Give a look at the jbl ms8.

It has an input for aux devices. A small screen for control that looks like a GPS. 30x6 amp. Not enough for a subwoofer but will do everything else.
