Hey all!

My buddy has a 2012 HD Street Glide with the Boom Audio Amp upgrade and he needs replacement speakers for it. He found a set of Kicker speakers on and then he found another set on that he's a little iffy on. Basically, he's looking for a good set of speakers for his bike, so I thought I'd bring it to the brains and experience of the avsforums! Any help is appreciated, ladies and gentlemen!

HD Forums has your answer

There is a ton of info on the hdforums:
Both Kickers & Polks have gotten mixed reviews on there. Most are critical of the Boom Audio speakers & amps.
Based on reading the threads and IM'ing HDForum members, here's a quick answer.....
Good = Infinity Kappa 62.11's
Better = Biketronics 7.1 Titans
Best = Focal 165-KRC
Replacing the stock speakers is easy on a 2012 SG. Remove seven T27 screws (google "removing street glide fairing" and there are plenty of good step-by-step videos).
If you/he decide to upgrade the amp, a cheap route is the Rockford Fosgate PBR 300x2 which is available on Amazon.
Have fun & good luck.
