Headunit under $100. Buy used pre-2011 or new?

Hey guys.
I have a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan (stock DVD system with 6 speakers).

I want to replace the head unit with something that supports USB and Bluetooth (bonus but not a deal breaker) for under $100, I understand that replacing the stock headunit with something decent will make a considerable improvement in the sound quality?

The car has alot of mileage so it doesnt make any sense to spend too much money upgrading the headunit.

Should I be looking for a used high end headunit from 2007-2011 (Kenwood/Alpine/Pioneer) or go with something mordern that fall within my budget? The goal is for the USB support and to get as much out of the stock speakers as possible.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Do you need a CD player? If not, I have this unit in my Jeep and it's great. I use a 128gb thumb drive and it hold all of my music. I don't even bother with CD's any more. I runs right $100 give or take a few bucks.
