Question Minimalist head unit: JUST Bluetooth receiver & EQ

Hey gang. So my ideal head unit would be half-din. It would receive bluetooth streaming from my phone, have a one-time gain adjustment, and provide actual knobs for volume, fader/sub level, and 4 band EQ. An adjustable lowpass filter would be nice.

No display, no support for AM/FM/SAT, no built-in Pandora or any crap like that, I don't even really need a balance control. These are things I've never cared about, or which my phone can already competently handle. (Phone EQs suck though)

Then it would just go straight to my amp.

In other words, an AudioControl 3.2 EQ (see attached image), with some kind of bluetooth receiver dongle attached to one of its inputs so my phone can stream bluetooth to it!

Is this crazy? Am I missing anything vital with such a hypothetical setup? Does anyone know of any such hardware that can approximate this? Or do I just have to buy a crappy full-din head unit and never use any of its features other than bluetooth input?

I don't know if such thing as a "half din head unit" exists. Your best bet is probably using a cheap head unit that has bluetooth. Or just totally skip the idea of a head unit all together and get the RE 4 channel amplifier that has bluetooth built in
