Hey so I'm still using my factory issued stuff on my car, tell me whats the best stuff to pimp my ride with some bass and maybe a dvd playable mp3 ipod w/e player. I listen to alot of types of music so bass is important but so is good sound quality. Oh and try to keep it fairly cheap lol. I have heard eclipse is a good name to look for and I've never had a navigation system so that sounds cool but if its like a monthly fee to use that then forget it. Please don't make fun of me, my user name is n%b for a reason.

what is your budget and what kind of car do you drive? IMO your first step should be to purchase a headunit that has all the features you will want for later additions, then go from there.

I'd like to keep it under a grand but if its worth it I'll spend more. Not rich, just interested in building it over time.

The next question that "I" would ask, would be......

What type of music do you usually listen too?
