I have a Camry Hybrid with factory Nav/radio. I have a 5G ipod. I would like to get a hardwired adapter to access the music on the ipod through the factory radio. I have seen several out there, but can't tell what interfaces they have (and what ease of use). I would prefer being able to use the touch screen to navigate the songs, etc.

Video playback would be nice, but I don't think that it exists.

Anyone have such a set-up that they are happy with?

I am having one of these installed in my Lexus next week. I'll report on the result later.

I installed car audio for about 6 years or so. I have used peripheral equipment all the time. They never failed me before.
I would suggest this piece for your I-Pod

Just locate a dealer or online retailer and you should be good to go.

I can vouch for Peripheral. I bought one for my 2004 Jeep Wrangler and it works great. The only thing I wish it would do is display the song info on my radio display, but really I dont need that. I got mine off Ebay. Good luck!
