I want to get her a new camcorder, but the problem is almost all the ones I'm familiar with require you to transfer to a PC She doesn't have a high def TV and doesn't own or ever plan to buy a PC, so I guess the best bet would be a DVD based camcorder?

Does anyone have suggestions for one that's easy to operate for an older person and cost < $300?
