HOW TO FILM A TIME-LAPSE VIDEO on an HDR-CX-550
I have had an HDR-CX550 for years. Works great for grandchildren. I have to admit I didn't realize I was filming in 720 for most of those years, and now shoot in 1080. What I'm trying to figure out, is HOW TO FILM A TIME-LAPSE VIDEO. I can't find it in the instruction manual, or online. I see just enough on-line to believe that it is possible, but one set of instructions directed me to select something that wasn't on the camera menu, so that was a dead end for me.
Can anyone here explain how to do this?
I'm trying to capture video of some red squirrels or chipmunks in the ceiling of my friend's house. She hired a group who takes them away without killing them, but they haven't been successful so they now think she is imagining it. But I've heard them myself. They seem to have free range above the ceiling of her living room, between the first set of rafters, and I have seen some of the mess they've made behind the knee wall of her second floor cape, where there's an opening in the floor to that rafter space.
The company has suggested that it might be her ice machine. Well, I know that sound, but unfortunately she doesn't have an ice machine.
Can somebody tell me the steps in the menu selections of an HDR-CX-550?
