Video of HF M41 at Vivocity's Canon Showroom

Video of HF M31 at the same location

Clearly, video from HF M41 is sharper, brighter and more vibrant.

Image capture of HF S21 (25p)

video from HF M41 is superior to that from HF S21 even though the video from HF S21 is shot at 25p.

Image capture from old Canon camcorder (likely HF200) at the same location

Clearly, video from the old camcorder is more pixellizated, grainy and duller.

M41 video and capture image look nice. However, the M41 is not yet available in North America.

Looks very nice. Significantly sharper & cleaner than the old models. Looks like both Canon & Sony have made great strides in their cams this year. Two different approaches, but both look very good.

HF G10 is not yet released in Singapore.

Sony CX700 is available but not CX560 and CX360.

weird launch schedule by the camcorder manufacturers in Singapore.

yup, the improvement in low light performance is very noticeable.

can wait to see the shootout between the new cannon and sony camcorders in low light performance.

You can buy both the HF M41 and HF M40 from stores on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Canon-M41-Camc...0119214&sr=1-1

http://www.amazon.com/Canon-M40-Camc...9602342&sr=8-1

They're not available from Amazon as the seller yet.
