I did a live chat with them and got this:

"Balaji: I checked and confirm that the item is SDHC card, Bill.

Me: Since it is the Gold Box Deal of the Day, can you fix the misinformation in the Technical Details before the day is over?

Balaji: Thanks for letting us know about the typo in the detail page for
HP 32 GB Class 10 SDHC Flash Memory Card (CG790A-AZ)."

Thanks, Bill. You have given me the incentive to check the price of the 32GB Komputerbay SDHC card, and it has dropped to $19.99! Looks like memory prices are in free fall and are now well below $1/GB. A 120GB SSD I've been watching has dropped to $102. Pretty soon, they'll be giving memory away for free :-)

Cheers,
(Still another) Bill

I bought the 32 GB card this morning to try in my laptop as a low budget SSD for video editing. My videos are generally short so even at 1080p there is lots of room on a 32GB SD card for the source files, scratch file and rendered video.

I don't know how to compare specs or measure speeds so I'm going to do a couple projects and compare total process times.

If it works well, I may try getting a 128 GB SD card.

Bill - a real SSD is now less expensive than the least expensive 128GB SDXC card. The 120GB SSD that was $102 yesterday is $99 today!

Cheers,

Bill

But my laptop does not have a place to put an SSD. So, if the SD card slot and card works to speed up rendering, it is a good idea and I'll know using the 32GB card. If it does not speed up the workflow, I'm only out $25 and will have a spare card.
