Yikes!

Love the camera but can not get the video from the hard drive or sd card into my mac.

Does this camera work with iMovie 11 or Final cut?

The TM 900 uses very standard AVCHD 1.0 file formats and, additionally, the 1080p60 format. I don't have a mac, but any and all recent video editing software on mac and PCs will accept AVCHD files. The 1080p60 might be more of a challenge.

Can you be more specific about how you are trying to get the files to your computer?

Yes, you can use iMovie with 1080/60p files from your TM900. You just copy the mts files onto your Mac HD, then you rewrap them using either of two free programs. That doesn't involve re-rendering the clips and is very quick to do. Then you can import the files into iMovie. If you want to use 60fps then you need to first set up iMovie to do that. I've described the procedure here: http://www.ianperegian.com/My_FZ35_38_Webpage/Edit_1080_50p_and_burn_a_disk.html

Cheers,
Ian

Thank you for your reply.

I am converting the .mts files to hd mpeg 4 and they are being recognized by FCX and iMovie 11. I am using iSkysoft video converter to make the conversion.

I appreciate you taking the time to reply to my post.
