Hello,

I have a canon vixia HFM 40 camcorder that I finally transfer videos to my pc using pixela videobrowser.

My problem is after I edit video and choose to burn DVD, I get a non usable DVD.

I choose DVD-video option, I am also using DVD-r disks.

I tried new DVDs, but that didn't work. The DVDs don't even read in a computer, or any of my DVD players.

I then dusted off a old copy of Nero 8, and was able to then burn a usable copy, after 3 hours of waiting for process to finish.

Does anyone have any explanation to why Nero worked, but videobrowser v1.1, doesnt work.

I would like to stream line to process.

Thanks

I never got either of the Canon software to work right , there is much to say for Canons' software . I only use it to upload it to the computer from my camcorder or you can copy all to the card and copy from the card to the computer . I ended up buying Adobe PSE with Premiere Elements 10 and i do all my video work from Premiere Elements . You can get the bundle for $119.99 and if you qualify for ed discount you can get the bundle cheaper . You can go the full blown Premiere but your looking at about $800.00 , but it's tops for the Pros' and probably the best on the market .

Thanks for info.

I thought maybe I was missing something.

Is there any cheaper options out there to use?

Nero 8 is so slow....

X2 for Premier Elements 10. I use in on a two year old laptop and find it full of useful tools. By itself, it is about $70 and I've seen sales as low as $50.
