I just bought a class 10 Transcend 16GB SDHC for my camcorder.
Just wonder any tools I can test the read/write speed?

I found one called "H2testw" and have used it for a year or so. I bought a new computer and it took awhile to google and find it again. I'm afraid I don't remember where I found it last week!

It is a free program provided by a German magazine and will operate in English to. I will create a file, write it to the card and then read it endlessly. Or, you can put limits on it. Consequently it can test the entire card and make speed measurements as well.

It will make speed tests of your HDD too.

Ah yes, I downloaded and ran it tested against my SDHC card:
Read ~18MB/s
Write ~14.5MB/s

So it conforms class 10 although not the fastest card.

Thanks

But it is still about 3 times faster than 1080p60 camcorders can produce.
