I bought a black Friday special on Amazon and I'm pleased with the quality for under $350. The only thing that concerns me is the lack of wide angle. Is there a wide angle lens that fits on this camcorder? I know there is one out there (Canon) that sells for around $200 but not sure if it is compatible. I know it'll make the camcorder very front heavy but I like shooting family get togethers inside.

Thanks for any advice.

There are cheaper models from other companies, though I would stick with the Canon model. I have it on my M41 and it works great. Can be found online for $200 bucks.
