Welcome to the forum.

"live streaming" usually refers to sending video over the internet.

If what you want to do is record and watch on a projector at the same time, you want a camcorder with an HDMI port a projector with the same. You will project an exact duplicate of what is on the cameras viewfinder screen. When you are looking at camera, you want to find one that has an option to turn off every icon displayed. Having a PC in the loop is superfluous.

In other words, it is common for things like camera settings or the "REC" to be displayed while recording. Some camcorders allow that to be turned off and some not.

Hi Bill

Excellent news, it worked and thank you for help. Just one more thing

I will be recording a Fashion catwalk show for college and the sound will be the Music from inside the hall to accompany the catwalk show

When I put the Camcorder into projector (HDMI) I get a horrible squeaky sound. Am I able to stop that without having to turn off audio on camcorder as I will need it on to record the music in hall?

Thanks

Steve

I think you may be talking about what is usually called "feedback". The microphone is picking up the sound put out by the speakers and sends it to them again in a loop. You have to move the mic further from the speakers, turn down the volume of the speakers or find a way to turn down the "gain" on the camera mic.

Hope this helps.

It is often said that the hardest part of video is getting good audio.

I assume your TV is in an area where the show is taking place so the audience will be hearing the live music and narration. They don't need the TV sound. Turn the sound (volume) on the TV to off or "mute".

The camera will continue to record.

If you are in a situation where you can't control the TV, they you have to do it at the camera. I think you will have to experiment with a manual setting that is low enough to prevent feedback but high enough to still record.

If none of this works, you may have to use a separate sound recorder of the type popular with musicians. A company named "Zoom" makes a few.

If your are trying to create a production quality music video, it will never happen with the onboard mic in your camera, no matter what you do.
