I am using the video recorder to tape interviews and when I use the external microphones together with a splitter, there is a significant amount of interference in the audio which is a major distraction whenI play the downloaded videos back on the computer. I can clearly hear what is said, but there is a high level of noise which is not coming from what I am recording but appears to relate to the camera itself. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do about this to ensure that the interviews can be heard without this interference?
