The Sony is likely much better. Here are two important reasons: The Sony does 108060p at 28Mbps; the Panasonic can only do 108060i at 17Mbps. You really do not want interlaced video. The Sony has an f1.8 lens at the wide end compared to the f2.8 of the Panasonic. The Sony video quality is unusually crisp, and looks very good.
The Sony has a 10X zoom; the Panasonic only 5X.
Finally, I suspect that the stabilization of the Panasonic is digital; that for the Sony is (mostly) optical. Digital stabilization alone degrades the video quality.
