This demo shows the capability of the smallest DSLR available, the CANON 100D / SL1 , to auto-focus in candle light.

IMHO I would get the larger 70D over the SL1 since it has a much better grip, better pentaprism vs pentamirror OVF, articulated LCD vs fixed LCD and the best AF in video mode of any Canon DSLR.

Yes, it looks like the 70D will raise the bar on AF - with STM lenses, at least.

Am keen to read some more real world reviews - may even get one if the low light performance is not compromised with the new sensor design. I was keen to start shooting RAW though, eg with a 5D3, so I will wait and see what Magiclantern RAW can do with the 70D.
