hi. I've a short list of 3 model:

panasonic hc-720k
sony hdr-cx580v
sony hdr-cx430v

ı know cx580v is an old model but (i think) it has better manuel controls and built-in flash. panasonic has the best price option for me but for the sony's extra budget will be needed.

first of all the new balanced optical steadyshot on cx430 make the difference against cx580? any other improvements between them?

or is hc-720k enough for me? mostly daily shooting, children, vs..

and lastly which has better in-door and/or low light quality?

thanks..

not sure about wi-fi option. i prefer video and/or picture quality. do you have a chance to compare them? if cx-430 gives better quality i'll give the extra 200 smile.gif

also i heard that 720k has built in flash which is not in 430v?

and also (i think) sony has cheaper batteries (wasabi i think). no wasabi (cheap) battery for 720?

don't buy cheaper batteries. i have a sony xr550 and bought a cheaper compatible batteries. worked on sony xr550. but when i put it on the sony cx700. the lcd give a error after 20sec of recording.

biggest battery for panasonic only run 4hrs while sony run for 8hr plus. also if you later decide to upgrade to sony pj790. you don't need to buy different battery.

i have a panasonic tm700 and tm900. battery for tm700 won't work on tm900.

thanks.
i couldn't find a proper comparision between cx430v and hc-720k. for me, video quality and in-door quality is more important than wi-fi option.
also which has a better image stabilization, do you know?

I believe that the v720 has greater resolution but I dont believe that you will notice a BIG difference in image quality between both. You should make your choice comparing the features that you will use and your subjective evaluation of the image quality.
