Here are videos shot with four cameras by the same guy in the same place (Union Square Farmers Market , NYC) at the same time of day (morning) in bright sunlight, but at different dates. All shot at the highest resolution and frame rate for each camera. All but the GW77 used an ND filter and 1/60th shutter. The GW77 is all auto.

All videos underwent no re-compression before uploading to Vimeo. The originals are downloadable from Vimeo. See any differences in video qualities?

The Canon EOS M video:

https://vimeo.com/72670156

Besides fruits, flowers, and bottled items, there is bicycling, roller-blading, swinging, sleeping, sooth-saying, a silent protest, buying and selling - and a dragonfly.

Youtube version:

Select 1080p

The Panasonic LX7 video:

https://vimeo.com/57774112

Begins with an in-camera time-lapse and ends with an underground serenade, besides the flowers and fruits.

The Sony GW77 video:

https://vimeo.com/47405804

Preaching, speed chess, flowers, firemen in action, people on wheels, people selling and buying and resting, water, art, food.

The Panasonic TM900 video:

https://vimeo.com/21552224

Earth movers, flowers, camermen, Chinese violin, condiments, trains. (This video has over 7,000 plays on Vimeo).

Hi Mark. Love your stuff. Now that I have the GW77, I feel challenged to produce videos as nice as yours. I feel that I am getting there, but hard to compare to yours since I mainly shoot trains, scenery up here at Sleeping Bear Dunes Nat. Lakeshore and around Traverse City, Michigan. Still getting used to handling the camcorder, since it is so different from my other ones. Also, once I research posting on AVS with videos on Vimeo(?), I will then share the meager attempts that I have tried with the cam.

Thanks. That's great. We all look forward to seeing your stuff, and trains are certainly interesting (to at least me) and I am sure few of us are familiar with the scenes around the area you live in. The video challenge I like is to make the ordinary interesting anyway.

As far as I know, you don't have to do anything special to your videos to upload to Vimeo; just make the highest-quality videos you want and Vimeo will convert, as it does anyway.

Been really, really busy this summer, so not sure when I will attempt to download any videos. Will give it a try as soon as I can. Even though I have done a lot of shooting, it has been with my older camcorders, in 60i, so will not look as good as the 60P produced by the GW77. So........I will post any videos with the new cam.
