Hi everyone!

Any Sony EX3 owners here who could shoot a short clip (even a single frame is enough) for me?

I need a short test clip of lens distortion chart with standard EX3 lens at it's widest. Chart can be downloaded from here:
http://www.kalderafx.com/images/lens_grid.png

It can be shot straight from monitor (if monitor is large enough: 22"+) or printed on A3. It should be shot straight on with camera centered and test image covering entire frame.

If someone could shoot this test for me it would be great! I need it for matchmoving purposes as my client was unable to arrange shooting of test chart.

Thank you in advance!

Hendrik

I would suggest you post at dvxuser.com or dvinfo.net. Most of us here are showing (or believing) that the latest $300 cameras provide higher-quality videos than the unbelievably expensive and large, old-generation (interlaced!) camcorders like the Sony EX3. If you search this forum for EX3, I doubt you will find many if any EX3 owners, at least lately.

I thought so too, but in both dvxuser.com and dvinfo.net my registration is waiting for admin approval. In dvinfo.net for more than a week now so I thought I better try other places in the mean time.

No harm trying, just didn't want to get your hopes up.

Hi kesonmis - here are a few other forums where there might still be EX3 shooters. As far as I remember, there were no waiting periods for administrator approval:

Videomaker: http://www.videomaker.com/forum

Creative Communities of the World: http://forums.creativecow.net/

Indietalk: http://www.indietalk.com/forum.php

Good luck!
