Hi

My question is about features that I haven't found described anywhere, but which I highly desire on camcorder - at the moment I'm using SONY HDR CX 115 pretty basic camcorder, but is has there features

Do Canons HF S10/S100/S20.... series or HG 10/20... have these features?

1) can you zoom in/out using LCD screen? is the zoom control on the lcd, slower than using switch on top of camcorder? (this is how SONY works and I need it, faster zooming on top, smoother zooming on LCD)

2) do camcorder takes pictures while recording footage and when smiling face is detected? this is how SONY works, I have many pictures of my baby smiling, captured by camcorder itself - in Canon i read that I can shoot photo by pressing button in so called dual shoot mode, but this is not what I need, I need camera to capture photo with smiling face, and this is what my basic SONY does

3) I understand that Canon can instantly change focus when I move lens to different object, but if I don't move the camcorder, can I point with my finger on LCD new object on which camcorder should focus now?

4) is there an option to outline currently focused object with some color? (new Panasonics do that - for example V270)

thanks to anyone
