Can anyone please advise me.

I need to find a camcorder that can be tethered to a Windows pc so that

1. The camera can be controlled via Windows Movie Maker ie liveview appears on screen, recording can be stop/started etc

2. The recorded video files are streamed to the pc hard disc in real time.

Right now I can do this with a Panasonic NV-GS35GC either via the IEEE1394 (DV terminal) or via the USB port.

Unfortunately, this camera is obsolete and needs to be replaced.  Most camcorders have a USB port but usually this is only used for transerring files from the camera memory or recording media to the pc afterwards.  I have checked the current Canon offerings but none of them can do what my obsolete Panasonic can.

Can anyone suggest a make/model that can do 1 and 2 above.

Thanks in advance
