Hi.

Here is 4K UHD Edius 7 and Sony FDR-AX100 edit. Check out the description, There are also links to a downloadable audio master and Cubasis project file, for those interested in audio and microphones.

Cheers,
Dave.

Hi Mattias.

Thanks. I find the AX100 to be a little off with skin tones, you can probably see this in the talking shots, as I didn't do any correction in post. This is a problem that I have noticed quite a bit. Although I prefer its picture in general to my old EX3, the EX3 was noticeably better at handling skin tones, and proper hard whites without yellow tinges.

I have also noticed that the AX100 lens has a number of issues. Mine already has what looks like tiny peeling on the coating of the lens. I only ever use a LensPen, just as I did with the EX3, but the EX3 even after 5 years had no lens issues.

Anyway. As for the audio. If you download the Cubasis project and unzip it. There will be a sub folder within the project that contains all the direct individual microphone WAVs.

For anyone interested in audio recording. The combination of the Focusrite unit and the iPad is an unbelievable high quality audio recording setup. I have worked on Neve's and SSL's and esoteric pre-amps in the past, that we're no better than this combination.

Cheers,
Dave.
