Canon C200

If you want to shoot 4K RAW and have $8k lying about (we are waiting for you Ken!!) you might think about this:

https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/p...70531-EOS-C200

Obviously outside of the price range of most of us here, but the most interesting part of it is that it has a new processor, the Digic DV6. The implication is that the stills sibling of that, the Digic 8, is on the horizon and Canon may finally have a processor that will allow them to get into the 4K game in the consumer market (although, Panasonic and Sony processors will probably still be ahead in terms of performance).

So, maybe 2018 will bring new options to the table for us. And new cameras Ken MUST buy!!

They seem to fill up everything users of the current C100 Mk2 feel missing at not much higher costs. The image quality (1080p) and AF of the current and older Mk1 models are already as close to being peerless as they are so adding 4K and 10 bit is a natural step up. But what are they going to do with the C300?

The GH5 Inferno combo is putting price pressure on Canon.

Canon is a trusted brand and it is known for its quality products. May it’s price is near about $8,000 but its features are awesome. I interested to buy this Canon C200 product but now I am just saving money to purchase this. I hope one day I definitely have this.

Unless you want raw and interchangeable lenses, you will get a similar image from the new XF/XG cameras for a lot less.
