4K Sony A7 III w/ 693 phase detection AF

Quote:
Today Sony will have a big announcement. We expect the new A7III and maybe few new lenses too (135mm f/1.8?). These are the rumored A7III specs via SonyAlphaRumors:
24MP sensor same as the A9
Same A9 body (which also means same battery)
6fps with mechanical shutter
ISO up to 51200 (expanded to ISO 204800)
693 phase detection AF (which is same as a9!!),
minimum focus sensitivity is EV-3,
4k 30p recording,
joystick
touchscreen

Sony continues to resist, for whatever reason, 4K60p. Hell, even Canon now is doing 4K60p and look how far behind they had been.

Truth be told, IMO, the Canon is by far the most 'potentially' interesting of the bunch. By far the biggest changes.

Yes, the new processor they have seems to have brought them into the game. Canon always did have (mostly) good hardware, it was the processor that has holding them back.
