I know everyone has moved on to the bigger and better HV-20 but I thought that some people may still be interested in the old dog. At $799.00 that is a hell of a price.

And it still offers one hell of a picture!

Not a bad price. I paid $949 in January.

Sold already. I want HC7.

Good time to buy computers and computer parts: NEVER

If you don't mind HV10's smaller size and don't use 24p filming, HV10 would give you an identical performance as HV20. Of course it saves you $300 too.

You will just have to use some manual controls to get rid off those vertical line noises in lowlight on HV10.

Obviously if you want to have a more professional look of the cam and add some pro accessories, then HV10 would be out of the question.

Newegg does slightly better http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16830120079

Sounds like alot of AVSers upgraded to the HV-20.

I'm interested in your old HV-10.

Actually, if the price continues to drop I will have to consider buying one and using it as a playback deck and/or a backup to my HV20 in case it suddenly dies.
