Hi,

I just ordered a Panasonic plasma (TC-P60ST50) and would like the IP control protocol to control the set as I don't want to use a Global Cache WIFI2IR.

I haven't received the TC-P60ST50 yet, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't have the 3.5mm service port like the VT30 did so I can't use this document:

I share all of my work, so if someone helps me find the ip control protocol, I'll post the driver for download once it's complete at this location:

Of course, if it's a proprietary protocol and you don't want me to share it, I won't. In this case, feel free to PM me

I found this that seems to work for several of the Panasonic bluray players:

It also looks like there is an android app called Viera Remote made by Panasonic. Has anyone packet sniffed and reversed engineered its protocol?

I can't help unfortunatley, but I have a similar request for an LG TV.

While it has RS232, it would be easier to just use the one Ethernet connection for both control and data.
