OK, my A/C problem was quickly resolved and A&M 350Z's problems are resolved however not quickly. Now I want to wrap my brain around something for my self. Up until now all my serial devices have been one way control. Feedback was if it worked or not. Now I want to learn how to show device statistics on the TP. I've only done that once before and it required the help of another who did most of the work. I just entered all the information where I was told to without really understanding why. So for this little tutorial I have the following spare equipment to play with

1. CNMSXPRO
2. CT-3500
3. Onkyo TX-SR705 and spreadsheet with the protocol.

If someone could walk me through just a couple of functions like volume, mute and power, I could probably figure out the rest. This is something I've had a itch to do for a long time and now I have the time to do it. This has a itch factor right up there with tig welding aluminum. I did that to.

Thanks,

Chip
