Hi All,

I have an NI-3100 and an MVP-7500 that is no longer working well.

Will soon be moving house and have the oppurunity to completely rewire as the "New" house will be a serious rennovation. I am a DIYer and have done some basic AMX on my own (Mainly 2 way rs232 integration of Audio prepro and video processor and touch panel interface). Is AMX still widely being used? I know I can buy an IPAD software solution for the touchpanel but wondered if AMX is worth sticking with just because I have the software and can just about set it up?

Absolutly, AMX is still widely used. I also believe it is the most stable platform on the market, when programmed properly. As for your AMX product, the NI-3100 is still a current controller, but the 7500 is of an age and quality that I would recommend replacing. But as you stated you can use an iPad as a UI running the TPControl app to control your entire system, even remotly. Good
